B.ed.. is one year professional teacher training course approved by national council for teacher education (NCTE) and affiliated to Ch. Charan Singh University Meerut. the course curriculum intends to professionally equip future teachers with all the requisites, theoretical knowledge and practical skills required by the teachers to handle the challenges of the classroom of the new millennium on the competition of course, an external exam is conducted by the university and successful candidates are awarded degree.
Admission for university takes place through entrance test conductedby CCS University Meerut. direct admission of eligible candidates are done on the basis of past academic record and personal interview.
The B.Ed. programme shall be duration of at least one academies year.
Candidates with at least 50% marks in the bachelor degree or any other qualification equivalent to are eligible to the programme.
Admission would be made on the basis of marks obtained in common entrance test or in exam conducted by CCS University Meerut.
There shall be relaxation of marks/reservation of seats for candidates belonging to sc/st/obc communities and other categories as per rules of state government.
Admission of students is made on the basis of counseling held by one of the universities of U.P. conducting entrance exam for regular seats. Direct admission to the course offered by the college Management /NRI category of seats are also open. candidates fulfilling eligibility conditions as per provisions laid down by NCTE, affiliating university and as per the rules of concerned state govt.
B.Ed students who technically are called pupil teachers have to deliver at least twenty lessons in two subjects,each in actual classroom situation in various school.before sending them to respective schools,we at g.i.m.t equi[p them with various teaching skills through micro –teaching and simulated teaching.a supervisionary team is also sent to the schools to actually sit in the class rooms to observe their teaching throughly and through their comments,remarks and suggestions.
